@2: The case against Hamdi was dismissed after a settlement and called "a misunderstanding." This happened two years ago. See Jackie Varriano's report in the ST:

Going to have to try all of these eventually. From Seattle and I’ve never been to any of these spots!! Just gonna toss in — no matter how far I travel, I have never come across better pad thai than Thai Tom on the Ave. 😩
