gosh
if Only
it were Per-
petually 'two weeks

by the Sea might get More Than

Empty platitudes from The Current Mayor.

If only we had followed the advice of Franklin Delano Roosevelt and disallowed public employee unions we would need the permission of a labor union (SPOG) to enact popular and effective policies (CARE).

But alas those days are gone and we need to negotiate with the police union to reform policing, just like we need to negotiate with the public teachers' union to reform education.

Good job Bruce. I seriously doubt a college dropout who hasn't had longterm employment in two decades could have achieved this.

Being mayor of a major metropolitan city is not an entry level position.

Sounds like SPOG doesn't like Bruce's chances, or the idea of having to negotiate with the next iteration of Seattle government.

Well, we'll find that out with Mayor Katie Wilson, won't we? Those are her credentials to a T.

(Calm down. This is not an endorsement of Harrell, it's merely a statement of fact refuting a comment I found amusing)

@7: In Seattle's history for example, it kept further stabbings or killings from occurring.

@7, An investigation by another department or the State AG, a referral to a prosecutor, and a determination that it was lawful self-defense.

@6, An investigation by the State Department of Labor and Industries, fines against Seattle for not equipping workers that regularly encounter threats to physical safety with bullet proof vests, and fines for not training and equipping them for legal use of force, including deadly force, in self-defense.
